A Passion for Healthy Living
I have several passions, but the one that inspires me most is learning how to improve my life through natural health, fitness and perspective, and through my blog, sharing what I learn with others to help them improve their lives as well. I think all three topics are integrated and important to well being. Because of the unfortunate amount of misinformation that circulates about good health, being able to share what I learn with others through my blog is particularly fulfilling for me.
My passion found me in the form of poor health. I’ve always had a passion for learning, so once I finally realized it wasn’t normal to push through life exhausted, I did everything I could to learn how why I was this tired and what I could do about it. I was eventually diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and have been able to improve my health to a level that most people would be envious of.
I’ve been interested in fitness and mental perspective for a long time, and while researching how to improve my health, I realized I had a deep interest for natural health and lifestyle as well.
I walk my talk and live according to all of the health and lifestyle information that I write about. As such, my passion helps me to maintain excellent health. Based on the nature of a true passion, it also provides me with the fulfillment that allows me to always wake up each morning with something to be excited about and look forward to.
Until I’m able to make a living from my passion, I’ll need to continue working full time in the rat race like most other people. The amount of time I put into learning, working with clients and writing for my blog easily accumulates to having the equivalent of a second full time job. It’s certainly not easy, but based on the importance I see in living with passion and my hope to eventually earn a full time income from it, I wouldn’t have it any other way. No matter how busy you are, it’s easy to make time for something that you consider to be one of your highest priorities.
